Something's Blooming

We took a walk around the yard and snapped some pictures to share.

This red day lily has never been a favorite,

but this year it looks better than in the past.

This is the first bloom on the purple Clematis.

And pop, they exploded within 2 days.

This is the promise I love to see.
It tells me my favorite blooms are getting very close.

I really love these pink Calla Lily's.
Every year they multiply, which delights me to no end!

And this is that wild Sweet Pea - It is getting out of control.
I say "Go for it girl!"

And of course, no "garden" is complete without the Black and White "blossom"!

(She made me do it!)

What's all this fuss about flowers for?
When you have a Queen, your pictures should all be of her royal furness!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Oh I enjoyed the walk around your yard! The photos just got better and better. I noticed that you have some Red Hot Pokers too, a very interesting plant. The Clematis are doing great, love your archway! I imagine by fall it is totally covered. The Sweet Pea is going bonkers..I love it too! What a bright spot of color! I am so jealous those Calla Lilies are so very pretty, so feminine and elegant looking. I bet you don't have to dig and store the bulbs over the winter either.
Your last black and wild bloom is looking great too! She photographs so well! Have a great weekend:)

  2. Wonderful photos. Such great colors and contrasts.
Thank you for stopping by Honey's site. We actually do now have another pup...and you know her, as it is Sierra Rose. I have not figured out how to link this to Honey. We very much miss Honey's super mellow demeanor, as we are in the midst of a 12week old Sierra Rose! She is a sweetie too, but takes a lot of our time at the moment.

Thank you for being such a great support!

    Big hugs!
Honey's mom, and now Sierra Rose's mom
